Warranty on Genuine Hybrid Batteries

Genuine hybrid batteries provided by Hybrid Automotive Service are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Please refer to the specific manufacturer’s terms and conditions for details.

 

Warranty on Aftermarket Hybrid Batteries

Our aftermarket hybrid batteries come with a 3-year or 100,000 km warranty, whichever occurs first. (T&C Apply)

 

Warranty on Rebuilt / Reconditioned / Repaired / Refurbished Hybrid Batteries

  • Private Vehicles: The battery is covered by a 2-year or 40,000 km warranty, whichever occurs first.
  • For taxi, Rideshare, or Commercial Vehicles: the battery is backed by a warranty of 6 months or 40,000 km, whichever comes first.

Warranty Conditions

To ensure the longevity of your hybrid battery and maintain warranty coverage, regular maintenance of the hybrid air intake system is required. Failure to properly maintain the battery’s ventilation system may lead to premature battery degradation and failure.

Cleaning instructions for the ventilation system will be provided during in-house, mobile, or network installations and included in the DIY installation kit. For any questions, please contact our support team.

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. If the hybrid battery fails within the warranty period, we may choose to repair or replace the battery. The warranty period remains unchanged and does not renew or extend after a repair or replacement.

Warranty Limitations

The warranty is void under the following conditions:

  1. Improper Installation: Damage resulting from installation by anyone other than our authorized technicians.
  2. Unauthorized Repairs: Damage caused by repairs conducted by individuals or services not associated with Hybrid Automotive Service.
  3. Accidental Damage: Damage resulting from a motor vehicle accident.

Extreme Weather Exposure: Damage caused by exposure to extreme weather conditions, such as excessive heat or flooding
